War Diaries of 'S -B' Squadron, South Irish Horse, Vol
3, Nov 1915-May 1916
Source document: Public Record Office Kew WO 95/2380
The following transcript has been made as faithful to the original as possible, but only the salient points have been recorded.
Note. Although this diary is listed as being 'B' Squadron I believe it to be 'S' Squadron. This is based on the arrival date in France, 25th Nov 1915, when 'B' Squadron had landed over a year before in Aug 1914. I suspect the confusion stems from both of these squadrons 'swapping' names in May 1916. (see 'History' South Irish Horse).
